So its been awhile, things have kind of stalled for a bit.
I paid the GST on the order and the second box was delivered. Which left a couple of things outstanding
The Canley saga has finally been resolved, the remainder of the parts finally shipped mid July. So everything i ordered is here now, even if it did take 5 months to fill my order. They guys are great, the parts are great but bloody hell, they need some lessons in communication with their customers.
The brake discs are funny, complete over kill for what i need, but I'm happy with them.
I went up a couple of months ago and trial fitted the rear valance, its going to need some trimming
I've been saving some cash for a nice compressor and spray gun to get the body painted and prepped, which i have now. So hopefully I'll get time to buy one this week.
Its winter here at the moment, although its not really cold, i'm planning on doing most if not all of the painting in spring/summer, so that will probably limit me to the firewall and under the rear valance for now which i'll be rust proofing with some POR 15.
I've been practicing my panel work on my old Mazda 121, so i might have a try at painting the repaired sections on that before i go to work on the herald.
